Subcommissies

Subcommissies zijn Commissies van het Europees Parlement1 die onder een van de 20 vaste Parlementaire Commissies vallen.

Dit zijn de huidige parlementaire subcommissies:

De eerste twee zijn subcommissies van de vaste Parlementaire Commissie Buitenlandse Zaken (AFET)6. De subcommissie Belastingvraagstukken valt onder de vaste Parlementaire Commissie Economische en Monetaire zaken (ECON)7. De laatste is een subcommissie van de vaste Parlementaire Commissie Milieubeheer, volksgezondheid en voedselveiligheid (ENVI)8.

    The Subcommittee on Security and Defence is a subcommittee of the Committee on Foreign Affairs. It is responsible for the European security and defence policy (ESDP).

    The Subcommittee on Tax Matters is responsible for tax-related matters:

    The Subcommittee on Public Health deals with public health, cosmetic and pharmaceutical products, the prevention of communicable and non-communicable diseases, health aspects of bioterrorism, cross-border health threats, the European Medicines Agency, and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control. The subcommittee does not have legislative power.
