  Stef Blok (1964) was van 25 mei 2021 tot 10 januari 2022 minister van Economische Zaken en Klimaat. Hij verving minister Van 't Wout. Zijn taken als minister van Buitenlandse Zaken, wat hij sinds 7 maart 2018 was, werden overgenomen door minister Kaag. In het kabinet-Rutte II was de heer Blok van 5 november 2012 tot 27 januari 2017 minister voor Wonen en Rijksdienst en van 27 januari tot 26 oktober 2017 minister van Veiligheid en Justitie. Van 25 augustus 1998 tot 5 november 2012 was de heer Blok Tweede Kamerlid. Hij was in de periode 2010-2012 fractievoorzitter van de VVD in de Tweede Kamer. Daarvoor was hij kredietanalist-secretaris Concern Krediet College en accountmanager Corporate Banking bij ABN/Amro. In de Tweede Kamer was hij woordvoerder sociale zekerheid, AOW, pensioenen en financiën. De heer Blok is sinds 2022 lid van de Europese Rekenkamer.

  Frans Timmermans is Minister of Foreign Affairs since November 5th 2012. Between 2007 and 2010 Timmermans was junior minister of Foreign Affairs, charged with European Cooperation. In 1998 Timmermans became member of the House of Representatives, serving terms until 2007 and again in between 2010 and 2012. Prior to his political career Frans Timmermans served with dr. M. van der Stoel, High Commissioner of national minorities at OSCE and was member of the cabinet of Commissioner Van den Broek at the EC. He also worked at various posts at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
