The 6th Europol-INTERPOL Cybercrime Conference will be held in Singapore under the auspices of the INTERPOL Global Complex for Innovation.
With the theme “Globalized efforts to tackle cybercrime”, the three-day event will bring together experts from cybercrime divisions around the world to further strengthen international networks against cybercrime, including with partners from the private sector, NGOs, CERTs and academia.
This joint initiative, first held in 2013, alternates every year between Europol’s European Cybercrime Centre (EC3) in The Hague and the INTERPOL Global Complex for Innovation in Singapore.
This year, the programme will focus on the following topics:

•Cybercrime threats in 2018 and beyond;

•Internet governance;

•Cyberthreat intelligence;

•The ‘business’ of cybercrime.
The INTERPOL-Europol Cybercrime Conference is part of Singapore Cyber Security Week 2018, which will see a range of events on the latest cybercrime challenges held from 18 to 20 September.
The European Police Office (Europol) is the EU’s law enforcement agency, whose remit is to help make Europe safer by assisting law enforcement authorities in EU member countries.
