The FRA Director will address the European University Institute’s renowned State of the Union conference.

He will speak about cities as a human rights actor in an era of migration. The conference in Florence will take place from 10 to 12 May. The annual event will offer high-level reflections on the European Union under the overall topic of solidarity in Europe.

Panel sessions will cover topics including European economic, monetary and fiscal policies, social investment, migration, defence and security, climate change and energy. The event brings together politicians, academics and practitioners.
