Directorate-General for Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (ECHO) - Main contents
This Directorate-General (known as ECHO) renders emergency aid for victims, regardless of race, religion or political beliefs, of natural disasters and violent conflicts outside of the EU. The EU is one of the biggest providers of humanitarian aid worldwide.
