Activity report: The Mission board for adaptation to climate change including societal transformation is foreseen to be active in this form until the entry into force of the Horizon Europe Framework programme, for a period of up to 18 months. In principle, the Board shall meet for a minimum of four times per year, typically at Commission premises in Brussels, with ad-hoc meetings when deemed appropriate by its members or under request by the Commission.

Selection procedure: Up to 15 high level experts (individuals appointed in a personal capacity - Type A-members) have been selected in compliance with the Horizon 2020 Rules for participation and dissemination (OJ 2013/L 347/81) and call for applications n° 221. Deadline for applications is extended to 16 June 2019, 12:00 (Brussels time).

Other: The Mission board for adaptation to climate change including societal transformation is an informal Commission expert group foreseen in the amendment of the Horizon 2020 Work-Programme 2018-2020 ‘Dissemination, Exploitation and Evaluation'; ‘Other Actions’; # 17 'External expertise for advice on the design and implementation of missions for Horizon Europe' (amendment foreseen to be adopted in June 2019). It has been set-up with the agreement of the Commissioner and of the Vice President, in accordance with Article 4 (1) of Decision C(2016)3301. The Terms of Reference of the group will be uploaded as soon as approved by DG RTD Director-General.
