Foreign Affairs Council, Monday 18 March 2019
The Council will discuss China, the Republic of Moldova and Yemen.
Agriculture and Fisheries Council, Monday 18 March 2019
The Council will have an exchange of views on the 2020 CAP reform package, and a discussion on bioeconomy. It will also be informed about patents and plant breeding.
General Affairs Council, Tuesday 19 March 2019
The Council will continue the preparation of the March European Council. It will also discuss the next multiannual financial framework and the European Semester 2019.

EU27 ministers will prepare the meeting of the European Council (Article 50) of 21 March.
European Council, Thursday 21 and Friday 22 March 2019
The spring European Council will focus on Brexit and the economy. EU leaders will also discuss climate change, the upcoming summit with China and ways to tackle disinformation. The European Council will also meet with the three Prime Ministers from the European Economic Area (EEA): Lichtenstein, Iceland and Norway.
