Background

The ESA/JRC International Summer School on GNSS 2019 is organised in cooperation with the University of Porto, Faculty of Science (https://sigarra.up.pt/up/en/p/fcup), Stanford University (https://www.stanford.edu/), Institut Supérieur de l’Aeronautique et de l’Espace ISAE-SUPAERO (https://www.isae-supaero.fr /fr/), and University FAF Munich (https://www.unibw.de/home).

The role of the JRC

The Joint Research Centre of the European Commission has been supporting the ESA/JRC summer school on GNSS since 2013. The JRC contributes to the organisation of the event, inviting prominent speakers and sharing its technical and scientific competences with students through lectures, laboratory work and project supervision.

JRC scientists will chair a lecture on “GNSS threats and vulnerabilities” with a practical "hands-on" session on GNSS signal processing.
