Seminar for students and teachers of the Belgian secondary schools participating in the 'European Parliament Ambassador School' (EPAS) programme.
The aim of this educational network is to raise awareness on European citizenship and democracy. The Belgian liaison office of the European Parliament is coordinating 'EPAS' in Belgium.
The theme of this seminar is: '2019 European elections: what's at stake ?'. This one-day programme includes various workshops and will be closed with a debate with Belgian members of the European Parliament.

The Committee of the Regions (CoR) is an EU advisory body composed of locally and regionally elected representatives coming from all 27 Member States. Through the CoR they are able to share their opinion on EU legislation that directly impacts regions and cities.
What does the CoR do?
The CoR gives regions and cities a formal say in EU law-making ensuring that the position and needs of regional and local authorities are respected.
