MEPs todebate EU summit outcome with Tusk and Juncker - Main contents

The results of December’s EU summit are up for a debate with Council President Donald Tusk and Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker on Tuesday morning.
EU leaders agreed on 15 December that "sufficient progress" has been made in the Brexit negotiations to move on to phase two, which includes talks on the future relations between the EU and the United Kingdom.
They also welcomed the launch of permanent structured cooperation (PESCO) on defence, and debated social issues, migration and eurozone reform.
Parliament’s President Antonio Tajani will open and close the Tuesday debate in Strasbourg from 10.00 to 11.40.
