On 1 December 2016, the Europe Direct Information Centre (EDIC) organises the international edition of the Europa Quiz in O’Casey’s Irish Pub in The Hague.
Europa Quiz is thé pub quiz about the European Union! After a successful run in 2015, the Europe Quiz continues with a new season of quizzes all throughout the Netherlands. A pub quiz full of interesting and fun questions about Europe; anything from history to geography, sports, food, music, film and more. How much do you know about Europe? Sign up for the Europa Quiz and test it out!
The quiz is played in several rounds, including a picture round, music round and general knowledge questions - all about Europe. The team with the highest score takes home eternal fame and glory, and some fun prizes too! The quiz is played in teams of 5 players maximum, participation is free of charge.
The Europa Quiz is held in English.

About the Europe Direct Information Centre
The Europe Direct Information Centre (EDIC) at ProDemos in The Hague is the entrance to the European Union for residents of The Hague and surroundings. EDIC provides general information about the European Union, refers visitors if necessary, organises debates and meetings to raise European awareness and promotes the debate about the European Union.

ProDemos is the 'House for Democracy and the Rule of Law'. ProDemos explains the Dutch govermental system and the rule of law to students, tourists, members of political organisations and other guests. The ProDemos Visitor Centre is located directly opposite the Houses of Parliament (Binnenhof) in The Hague. From here ProDemos provides guided tours, educational programmes, debates, exhibitions, and courses.
ProDemos was established in 2010.
