Selection procedure: ICT standardisation platform: Due to the wide range of tasks the composition of the Platform is crucial to ensure the broadest possible representation of stakeholders. Therefore, the Commission had identified several criteria based on which it proposed the organisations for membership: Members should represent interest of SMEs, consumers and other societel stakeholders such as people with disabilities and elderly people. Furthermore, to ensure that the Platform has available expertise in the development of standards in the ICT field, European, international and private standards setting organisations and industry assocations are represented. As the private standards setting organisations are concerned the selection took into account the facts that these organisations have an open and transparent structure, that their standards are not sector specific and globally accepted by markets. All members should be active in Europe or representig respective European interests. The Members are appointed following the Article 4 of Commission Decision of 28 November 2011 (2011/C 349/04)

Selection procedure: A Call for Applications has been launched to renew the membership (Type C members) of the EUROPEAN MULTI-STAKEHOLDER PLATFORM ON ICT STANDARDISATION. Once the selection procedure is completed, members will be published in the Register. Deadline for applications: 15.3.2019

Selection procedure: Following the results of the Call for applications, Members of the group were appointed by the Directors General of DG CNECT and DG GROW on 20/05/2019.

Selection procedure: Following Art.4.5 of the Commission Decision of 28 November 2011 setting up the European multi-stakeholder platform on ICT standardisation (2011/C 349/04), the 3-year mandate of the members has been extended first by one year until 30/05/2023 and then for an additional period of 6 months, after approval of the Directors-General of DG GROW and DG CNECT. This mandate will end on 30/11/2023, after which date the renewal of the membership will apply.

Rules of procedure: Draft Rules of procedure, updated according to Commission Decision C(2016)3301, to be adopted by the renewed group in its first meeting.
