Parliament committee approves new deal on Europol - Main contents

New governance rules for Europol were endorsed on Monday by MEPs in the European Parliament's Civil Liberties Committee i following agreement with the Council in a trilogues process last week. Europol’s work will be overseen by a Joint Parliamentary Scrutiny Group with members from national parliaments and the European Parliament.
