At a High Level conference in Brussels, the Central Europe Energy Partners (CEEP) and the Atlantic Council officially presented the 'Completing Europe - from the North-South Corridor to Energy, Transportation and Telecommunications Union' report, in cooperation with DG Energy.

The event - on 24 March 2015 - was opened by Director-General Dominique Ristori and speeches were given by Vice-President of the European Commission for Energy Union, Maroš Šefčovič, Prof. Jerzy Buzek, MEP, Chairman of the ITRE committee, President of the Board of Directors of CEEP, Paweł Olechnowicz, and a representative from the Atlantic Council, David Koranyi, Director, Eurasian Energy Futures Initiative, who was Co-Director of the report.

This significant report highlights a critical element in the process of addressing Europe’s weaknesses: infrastructure development across Central Europe in the energy, transportation and telecommunications sectors. The study is structured around these three dimensions, without forgetting the required financial investments. The document is available on CEEP’s website.

The event was hosted in the Berlaymont building and access was possible by invitation only.
