Greek named as top EU military chief - Main contents

Greek general Mikhail Kostarakos on Monday was appointed next chairman of the EU Military Committee, the bloc's highest military advisor and co-ordinator of EU military operations. Kostarakos will take over from general Patrick de Rousiers on 6 November 2015, for a three-year term.
