President of the Republic Demetris Christofias i will meet with the Prime Minister of Denmark Helle Thorning-Schmidt i on Thursday 5 July, at the Presidential Palace, in Nicosia. The main themes of the meeting, which will take place at 11.30 (local time), will be the inherited agenda, the priorities of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU and the negotiations for the Multiannual Financial Framework.
At 12.20 President Christofias and Prime Minister Thorning-Schmidt will make statements to the Press.
President Christofias will also meet EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Baroness Catherine Ashton i, at 10.30, at the Presidential Palace.
