G. (Giorgia) Meloni - Main contents

Giorgia Meloni (1977) is sinds 22 oktober 2022 minister-president van Italië. Zij leidt een rechts-nationalistisch kabinet van FdI, Forza Italia en Lega Nord. Meloni was aanvankelijk actief in de jeugdbeweging van de neofascistische MSI. In 2006 werd zij Kamerlid voor de Nationale Alliantie en in 2008 minister voor Jeugd in het kabinet-Berlusconi (tot 2011). Sinds 2014 is zij de leider van Frateli d'Italia.
