Selection procedure: The national customs authorities’ representatives are appointed by the Member States to represent them at the meetings, as they are members and the appropriate authorities to contribute to the different topics discussed at the meetings of the group. Experts with the following profile will participate: National representatives involved in the Customs Control Equipment Instrument.

  Dit type werkgroepen van de Europese Unie adviseert de Europese Commissie bij het opstellen van nieuwe wetgeving en nieuw beleid. Daarnaast houden ze zich bezig met controle, coördinatie en samenwerking met de lidstaten. Expertgroepen kunnen tijdelijk of permanent zijn ingesteld. De deskundigen worden niet betaald, maar krijgen een onkostenvergoeding.
