The European Union and Ukraine held the 7th meeting of the Association Council on 11 February 2021 in Brussels

Main results

The 7th meeting of the EU-Ukraine Association council took place in Brussels and was co-chaired by Josep Borrell, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Denys Shmyhal, Prime Minister of Ukraine.

The meeting discussed the implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, with a focus on political reforms, rule of law, economic cooperation and trade, and developments related to Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

At the end of the meeting, EU and Ukraine issued a joint press release summarising the discussion.
