This event is part of Democracy in Debate, a series of monthly events organized by Filmhuis Den Haag1, the Montesquieu Institute, Nieuwspoort2 and ProDemos3.
- 1.The Filmhuis Den Haag (movie theater The Hague) is an independent arthouse showing primarily films that are not shown in regular cinemas. The Filmhuis Den Haag also organises lectures, debate evenings, workshops and educational screenings.
- 2.International press centre Nieuwspoort (English: news gate) is a meeting point for politicians, journalists, lobbyists and press officers. Press conferences by politicians and ministers often take place at Nieuwspoort.
- 3.ProDemos is the 'House for Democracy and the Rule of Law'. ProDemos explains the Dutch govermental system and the rule of law to students, tourists, members of political organisations and other guests. The ProDemos Visitor Centre is located directly opposite the Houses of Parliament (Binnenhof) in The Hague. From here ProDemos provides guided tours, educational programmes, debates, exhibitions, and courses.
