FRA findings show that the Charter is not yet used to its full potential. Equality bodies are key Charter actors. Building on this, FRA and the European Network of Equality Bodies Equinet will host a workshop on the EU’s Fundamental Rights Charter from 25 to 26 February. More than 30 legal experts from Equality Bodies across the EU will discuss how to increase awareness about and the application of the Charter. Charter-related topics will cover equality and non-discrimination, asylum and migration, Artificial Intelligence and Charter Conditionality in European Structural and Investment Funds. The workshop will also showcase FRA tools. These include Charterpedia, an online tool providing easy-to-access information about the Charter, related case law and more. FRA will also present the Charter handbook and Charter country-sheets which help underline the Charter’s added value.
