EU goes to PDAC convention
Published on: 10/02/2020
The EU needs to ensure a sustainable, responsible and secure supply of raw materials to its industrial value chains. The shift to the climate-neutral economy will increase the global demand for non-energy raw materials more than ever. This demand exceeds what recycling can offer and we need to secure the primary supply from the EU and third countries. Given the growing strategic importance of raw materials for the EU manufacturing industry, the Commission is taking actions under the EU raw materials initiative (RMI) for a secure, sustainable, responsible and affordable supply.
Event date: 01/03/2020 to 04/03/2020
