The launch event of the 2020 edition of the BeCircular call for projects will take place on 20 February 2020.
Former or future participant, circular project holder, decision-maker or simply curious, the 2020 edition of the BeCircular call for projects is a chance to exchange your best practices, discover regional opportunities and to learn about projects that make Brussels a circular region.
Programme includes: an information session, speeches by Environment Minister Alain Maron and the Secretary of State for the Economic Transition Barbara Trachte, as well as an award ceremony for the 2019 winners. The night will end with a networking cocktail dinner.

The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) is an EU advisory body comprising representatives of workers' and employers' organisations and other interest groups. It issues opinions on EU issues to the European Commission, the Council of the EU and the European Parliament, thus acting as a bridge between the EU's decision-making institutions and EU citizens.
What does the EESC do?
It gives the interest groups a formal say on EU legislative proposals. Its 3 key tasks are to:
