On 23 January in Zagreb, the FRA Director will participate in the informal Council meeting of EU Justice Ministers. Ministers will discuss justice aspects of how to further strengthen the area of freedom, security and justice, as well as looking ahead to the future strategy on judicial training. Ministers will also address the role and importance of the European Judicial Network in civil and commercial matters in facilitating judicial cooperation. The meeting is being organised under the Croatian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
The EU Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) provides independent, evidence-based advice to EU and national decision makers, thereby helping to make debates, policies and legislation on fundamental rights better informed and targeted.
What it does
