​​The European Committee of the Regions (CoR) is drafting an Opinion on "Towards a Roadmap for Clean Hydrogen - the contribution of local and regional authorities to a climate-neutral Europe".

To discuss the topic of the opinion, the Rapporteur Ms Birgit HONÉ (DE/PES), Minister for Federal and European Affairs and Regional Development of the State of Lower Saxony, and her expert would be happy to meet you.

This consultation is open to representatives of local and regional authorities and their associations, experts from industry and business associations, NGOs, and think tanks. Representatives of the European Commission are also invited to bring their contribution.

Committee of the Regions (CoR)

The Committee of the Regions (CoR) is an EU advisory body composed of locally and regionally elected representatives coming from all 27 Member States. Through the CoR they are able to share their opinion on EU legislation that directly impacts regions and cities.

What does the CoR do?

The CoR gives regions and cities a formal say in EU law-making ensuring that the position and needs of regional and local authorities are respected.
