The European Robotics Forum (ERF2020) is the meeting point for over a thousand decision makers, engineers, researchers, and a growing number of entrepreneurs and investors, as well as users and policy makers in the field of robotics from all over Europe and beyond.

During the 11th edition of the European Robotics Forum (#ERF2020) there will be a major exhibition with robotics companies, universities and research organisations display their robots and research. There are over 50 workshops planned, which gives participants a chance to experience the newest and most interesting research and innovation in Europe, which is a forerunner to funding research and innovation in artificial intelligence and robotics.

The draft programme is available already.

Among all the interesting workshop you will find workshops organised by the European Commission:

  • H2020 new projects: The new projects from ICT-09-2019-2020 and ICT-10-2019-2020 will present their ideas
  • Success stories: Already running or just finished projects will present their successes

Call for participants: ERF Entrepreneurship Award 2020

The Entrepreneurship workshop is a much-appreciated event that takes place during the ERF2020 conference on 3-5 March 2020. It provides the ability for small innovative companies to pitch their ideas for the next big thing in robotics to a panel of technology investment experts. As well as the chance to win a cash prize, entrants stand the chance to gain valuable skills in how to pitch an investment idea together with the potential to gain interest in their company from the investment community.

The objective of the workshop is to encourage the wider acceptance of entrepreneurship in robotics researchers by providing entrepreneurial coaching to several teams who themselves have ideas for developing robotics products or services.

Each selected participant will have their flight and accommodation (up to € 500) and ERF attendance and banquet fees paid for one person, and will furthermore receive feedback on their pitch and project from the screening committee and an offer of a further 3 * 1 hour of counselling from European level robotic entrepreneurship experts.

Interested participants must submit an application with the following format by 23:00 CET on 12th February 2020 to the following email address:
