Towards a common EU Strategy to fight corruption and organised crime, Brussels

On 3 December 2019, the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) will hold a public hearing entitled "Towards a common EU strategy to fight corruption and organized crime - strengthening instruments and enhancing cooperation between relevant actors"

The hearing will bring together institutional representatives, prosecutors, academics and civil society representatives in order to discuss the necessity to develop a comprehensive strategy and approach to fight corruption and organized crime in the EU, which will further improve cross-border cooperation, tackle existing gaps in the fight against organized crime and corruption, implement better supervision and develop a comprehensive policy to prevent future loopholes.
