Environment Council, Friday 4 October 2019

The Council will adopt three sets of conclusions: on the UNFCCC COP25 in Chile, on the 8th Environmental Action Programme and on the circular economy. Ministers will discuss the EU's long-term climate strategy.

Justice and Home Affairs Council, 7 and 8 October 2019

Justice ministers will discuss EU action against corruption, the state of play on fundamental rights 10 years after the entry into force of the EU Charter of fundamental rights and the ongoing negotiations in the field of e-evidence. The Council is also expected to adopt conclusions on Eurojust.

Home affairs ministers will discuss right-wing violent extremism and terrorism, new technologies and internal security, and hybrid threats and internal security. The Council is also expected to adopt conclusions on combatting the sexual abuse of children. Over lunch, ministers will discuss the state of play on migration.

Economic and Financial Affairs Council, 10 October 2019

The Council will have exchanges of views on issues related to anti-money laundering and on the Wise Persons' Group's report on the European financial architecture. It is expected to adopt a Council recommendation on the appointment of a member of the ECB executive board.
