This event will bring together over 200 experts from industry, trade unions, education and training organisations, governments and small business associations from across Europe. The event will focus on major themes addressing the importance of skills development and upskilling of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to support their digital transformation.

A vision, roadmap and toolbox will be presented, which have been developed with the support of stakeholders from across Europe.

We will discuss the particular need to make SMEs more cyber resilient, successful mechanisms to engage SMEs in upskilling, and how to ensure more and better education and training offers tailored to their specific needs.

We will also discuss what is needed in the coming years to increase the adoption of these technologies by SMEs with recognised experts from across the European Union and the United States.

The European Commission and the Executive Agency for SMEs initiated this action to support SMEs and skills development in these fields with the aim of strengthening the adaptability and capability of the SME workforce. The action is financed by the COSME Programme.
