The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) is organising a meeting with stakeholders in the field of feed additives.

Over the past 2 years, the panel on additives and products or substances used in animal feed (FEEDAP Panel) has updated its guidance on:

• - 

  characterisation of microorganisms used as feed additives or as production organisms
• - 

  assessment of the efficacy of feed additives
• - 

  assessment of the safety of feed additives for the environment

The aim of this information session is to ensure that stakeholders have a good understanding of the provisions of these documents.
