The European Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) and the French ‘Defender of Rights’ are jointly organising an international seminar on the challenges of relations between the police and the public, as well as current practices.
The seminar will bring together practitioners from different professional perspectives. These include police forces, public authorities, complaints bodies, lawyers, victim support services, civil society, academics and other experts, as well as representatives of international organisations and EU institutions.
The event will centre around 3 main topics:
The EU Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) provides independent, evidence-based advice to EU and national decision makers, thereby helping to make debates, policies and legislation on fundamental rights better informed and targeted.
