NordAN 2019, an international conference on substance abuse prevention will take place in Helsinki (Hotel Arthur, Vuorikatu 9) on 11th-12th October 2019.
What is the future of Nordic alcohol policy? Will monopolies break? What is the European Union's response? What can we learn from North American drug policy? What youth organizations can tell us about the changes in young people's values?
Conference themes will be led by European Commissioner for Health and Food Safety Vytenis Andriukaitis, Professor and Former Member of the Finnish Parliament Pekka Puska, Professor Tim Stockwell (University of Victoria, Canada), WHO Program Manager Carina Ferreira-Borges, and Former Estonian Minister of Health and Labour Jevgeni Ossinowski.
