1.6 million police officers currently serve in the EU; men and women with different experiences and diverse personal backgrounds, but united by a common goal: protecting others.

Just like the societies it represents, the European law enforcement community is very diverse. At Europol, we believe that diversity is a strength. The combinations of different experiences and perspectives makes us stronger and more adaptable to change. Our diversity also brings us closer to the people we serve and facilitates contacts with our communities.

Europol Diversity Day 2019, will provide a unique opportunity to reflect on diversity and inclusion matters in law enforcement. A broad range of topics will be discussed, including gender, LGBTI, multi-culturalism, disability, career management and work-life balance.

The event will bring together the staff of Europol and partners from the Member States, EU Institutions, Justice & Home Affairs Agencies, international organisations and the civil society.

The conference is on invitation only.
