The Council will discuss Afghanistan and the Eastern Partnership. Foreign ministers will also discuss the situation in Venezuela.

EU27 ministers will prepare the special meeting of the European Council (Article 50) of 10 April.

The Council will discuss the next multiannual financial framework and the state of play regarding the rule of law in Poland and respect for EU values in Hungary.

It is also expected to adopt conclusions on the Commission's reflection paper "Towards a sustainable Europe by 2030".
