Update information - Informal meeting of the Justice and Home Affairs ministers from the EU member states, February 6th-8th 2019

Wednesday, February 6th

A welcome cocktail will be offered in the evening for Home Affairs delegation members.

For journalists arriving in Romania on February 6th, the Ministry of Internal Affairs organises a guided tour of the Palace of the Parliament Palace, in between 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. The tour also aims to accommodate journalists with the press areas, the press conference rooms and Council working spaces.

During the working sessions that are closed to media representatives, journalists can attend 2 documentary visits to the Border Police Coordination Centre and the Bucharest Integrated Municipal Centre for Emergency Situation, as follows:

  • 11.00 - Departure from the Palace of the Parliament to the Border Police Headquarters for documentation at the Operational Coordination Centre.
  • 12.00 - return to the Palace of the Parliament for lunch;
  • 14.00 - departure from the Palace of the Parliament to the Bucharest Integrated Municipal Centre for Emergency Situation;
  • 15.00 - return to the Palace of the Parliament.
