The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, with the support of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), is organizing the Business Forum Serbia-Slovenia, which will be held in Belgrade on Monday, January 28, 2019.

The Forum is being held on occasion of the visit of a business delegation from Slovenia led by H.E. Borut Pahor, President of the Republic of Slovenia.

In the plenary part of the Forum, a panel discussion will be held on the subject of digitalisation of the economy, while during the business forum two other panel discussions will be held on the topic of tourism and circular economy.

In the final part of the forum, B2B business meetings will be held according to a pre-defined schedule in accordance with the express interest and terms scheduled through the European Enterprise Network (EEN) platform.

The main goal of the Forum is to connect local businessmen through bilateral talks with their counterparts from Slovenia, presentation of opportunities of their companies and products, and establishment of future cooperation.

Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME)

EASME replaced the EACI (Executive Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation). It has been set-up by the Commission to manage a number of EU programmes on its behalf:

  • Horizon 2020: Research
  • COSME: Competitiveness of Enterprises and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs)
  • LIFE: Environment and climate action
  • EMFF: The Maritime and Fisheries Fund
  • Intelligent Energy – Europe
  • The Eco-innovation initiative
