European Union within the Committee on Government Procurement on the
accession of Australia to the Revised Agreement on Government

1 On 7 September 2018, the Commission submitted to the Council the above-mentioned proposal.

2.The proposal for a Council Decision was examined and endorsed by the Trade Policy
Committee (Deputies) at its meeting 14 September 2018.

3.The Permanent Representatives' Committee is therefore invited to recommend that the
Council, as an "A" item on the agenda of one of its forthcoming meetings:
− adopt the Council Decision as finalised by the legal-linguistic experts and set out in document 11928/18 + ADD 1;
− note that the European Parliament will be informed in accordance with Article 218(10) TFEU, and that the Decision will be transmitted to the Parliament.
