On 25 October,  the final edition of Raw Materials University Days in 2018 takes place at the University of Milano-Bicocca in Italy. It offers the public an interactive path through the different dimensions of raw materials.

All activities aim at promoting university degrees in raw materials, research and its outcomes, researchers and their profession. Special attention will be paid to the youngest generations and to the recognition of the professional and economic use of raw materials.

The event will feature interactive stands, hands-on experiments and live demos that reconstruct the research environment, such as:

  guided visits to scientific university laboratories

There are special dedicated activities for high school students encouraging them to consider a research career in the field of raw materials.

Participants will get to know the raw materials, their origin and their usefulness in everyday life.
