In recent decades, the EU has managed to handle and indeed reduce environmental pressures. However, achieving the EU’s 2050 vision of 'Living well, within the limits of our planet' require a new approach. The European Environment Agency has highlighted the need to go beyond incremental changes, and to engage in fundamental transitions in consumption and production systems, notably in food, mobility, energy, and cities. This policy roundtable will analyse and discuss the EEA’s ambitions approach.
