Prime Minister of Belgium Charles Michel will be the fifth EU leader to debate the future of Europe with MEPs, on Thursday at 09.00.

Mr Michel and EP President Antonio Tajani will hold a joint press point after the debate at around 11.30, in Parliament’s Anna Politkovskaya press conference room (PHS0A50) in Brussels.

You can watch the plenary debate and the press point via EP Live and EbS+.

This will be the fifth in a series of debates between EU heads of state or government and MEPs on the future of European Union, after Irish Taoiseach Leo Varadkar on 17 January, Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković on 6 February, Portuguese Prime Minister António Costa on 14 March and the French President Emmanuel Macron on 17 April.

The next future of Europe debate, with Luxembourg’s Prime Minister Xavier Bettel, is scheduled for the May plenary session in Strasbourg.
