How will the role of the Netherlands look like in this international context? How are refugees who are sheltered in the region actually doing and what is their perspective on their and their children’s future in the case of continuing conflict in their country of origin? Are there alternative safe routes to the Netherlands and other countries in the world feasible? What kind of possibilities exist and are conceivable for labor migration out of West Africa?
