Missing Children Europe and the President’s Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society in cooperation with the Alliance of European Liberals and Democrats in the European Parliament (ALDE), the European Programme for Integration and Migration (EPIM), the Child Rights Intergroup in the European Parliament and the Urban Agenda Partnership on the Inclusion of Migrants and Refugees, invite you to join the discussion at "Lost in Migration: From European priorities to local realities", a conference taking place on 11-12 April 2018 in Brussels.

The conference will bring together key stakeholders concerned with the issue of child protection to take stock of the local realities of children arriving in Europe in the context of migration and develop forward looking proposals for the protection of these children. The registration deadline for the conference is Friday, 16th March.

The conference website blog is now live! Professionals and researchers are invited to contribute to the Lost in Migration II blog about the local situations, challenges and stories of children who come to Europe in the context of migration. To express interest in writing a post, please contact Missing Children Europe and read the blog's guidelines here.

Missing Children Europe does not cover participants’ accommodation and travel expenses, but a limited number of rooms is available at the Aqua Hotel (€125 for a single room or €135 for a twin room per night incl. breakfast and VAT). If you wish to benefit from this package, please book your room directly via the hotel form by Monday, 12 March 2018. Please note that this is possible only upon availability of rooms.
