The REGI Members will have an Interparliamentary Committee Meeting (ICM) with the National Parliaments entitled “The Future of Cohesion Policy post 2020: Opportunities, Challenges and Next Steps” on Wednesday, 22 November 2017, at 15:00, as a part of REGI committee meeting. This event will offer the National Parliaments a possibility to express their views on the future of Cohesion Policy after 2020 and to discuss the topic with the Members of the REGI Committee.

The REGI chair, Ms Iskra Mihaylova, will open the meeting, and her opening words will be followed by two keynote speakers: Ms Corina Crețu, the Commissioner in charge of Cohesion Policy and Mr Jaak Aab, the Estonian Minister for Public Administration.

Ms Kerstin Westphal, the rapporteur of "Building blocks for a post-2020 EU Cohesion policy" resolution will also take the floor.

The event is organised with the support of the Directorate for Relations with National Parliaments.
