Activity report: The aims of the meetings are, as a first step, the elaboration and then, as a second step, the implementation of the ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) Action Plan. A first meeting (workshop) took place on 26 March 2008, the next meeting will be held on 25 May 2011.

Selection procedure: The members of the sub-group shall be Member States' authorities (at national, regional or local level e.g. cities) and organisations with a demonstrable professional interest and experience in the deployment of cooperative intelligent transport systems using the EU C-ITS Security Credential Management System (CCMS). Members shall be appointed by the Director-General of DG MOVE from applicants complying with the requirements referred to in the call.

Rules of procedure: Expert groups usually operate in an informal setting without any formal rules of procedure. This is the case for this group.
