Activity report: The Competent Authorities for Biocidal Products are dealing with the implementation of Regulation (EU) No 528/2012 on the making available on the market and use of biocidal products. In these meetings (4 to 5 per year) implementation issues are discussed. The group is also consulted by the Commission with regard to delegated acts that the Commission is empowered to adopt pursuant to Regulation (EU) No 528/2012. Selection procedure: There is no selection procedure. The experts are appointed by the MS authorities. For industry organisations and NGOs, they are representatives of interested parties organised at the EU level, which have an interest in following discussions relating to the implementation of the BPR.

Rules of procedure: Expert groups usually operate in an informal setting without any formal rules of procedures. This is the case for this group.
