Selection procedure: This is a group formally established (Decision 2009/427/EC); the selection of the members was carried out according to the relevant Call 2009/C 308/10. The members were appointed by Commission Decision 2010/C 262/03. The list of the members was amended by the Commission Decision 2013/C 360/9; the mandate of the members expired on 31 December 2016. A new call for applications with a view to renewal of the membership of EGTOP was published from 13 January 2017 until 17 March 2017. The members were appointed by Commission Decision 2017/C 287/03 (published 31.08.2017). --- In accordance with Article 5(2) of Commission Decision 2009/427/EC, a sub-group to EGTOP will be set up to evaluate the salt productions methods and to suggest production rules applicable to organic production of salt. EGTOP sub-group shall consist of up to 7 members. To ensure that a sub-group on salt have the necessary expertise, the Commission launched a call for applications with a view to selecting four experts in salt production, who were appointed as members of the pool of candidates. The call for applications was launched on 27.09.2019, with a deadline of 25.10.2019. The 4 members of the pool were appointed by Commission Decision 2020/C 110/04 of 1 April 2020.
