MEPs to vote on a future EU electoral reform during this week’s mini-Plenary session. For the first time, this electoral law would allow transnational lists, enabling EU citizens living abroad to vote in European elections. Ruth Reichstein, Greens Group Spokesperson, also stated that establishing thresholds for EU elections is ‘not acceptable’, rejecting thus the proposal’s mandatory thresholds for obtaining seats in the Parliament.
