On the 4th of November Jan Werts, Hans van Baalen, Gerben-Jan Gerbrandy and Marit Maij discussed the current situation of the European Union after one year 'Tusk, Juncker and Schulz'. Journalist Max van Weezel moderated the discussion.

Nieuwspoort

International press centre Nieuwspoort (English: news gate) is a meeting point for politicians, journalists, lobbyists and press officers. Press conferences by politicians and ministers often take place at Nieuwspoort.

Nieuwspoort is an advocate of free press and freedom of speech. Therefore, Nieuwspoort is involved in a variety of activities to increase public awareness and involvement with politics.

ProDemos

ProDemos is the 'House for Democracy and the Rule of Law'. ProDemos explains the Dutch govermental system and the rule of law to students, tourists, members of political organisations and other guests. The ProDemos Visitor Centre is located directly opposite the Houses of Parliament (Binnenhof) in The Hague. From here ProDemos provides guided tours, educational programmes, debates, exhibitions, and courses.

ProDemos was established in 2010.

Filmhuis The Hague

The Filmhuis Den Haag (movie theater The Hague) is an independent arthouse showing primarily films that are not shown in regular cinemas. The Filmhuis Den Haag also organises lectures, debate evenings, workshops and educational screenings.

The Filmhuis The Hague was opened on 2 September 1981. It is currently located at Spui 191, The Hague.
