LIBE
In the framework of the preparation of the strategic own-initiative report on the situation in the Mediterranean and the need for a holistic EU approach to migration, the Co-Rapporteurs, MEPs Roberta Metsola and Kashetu Kyenge, as well as the shadow Rapporteurs have organised a number of exchange of views with experts from the field of migration during upcoming LIBE meetings.
A series of debates on the portrayal of migration through cinema will take place followed by a sequence of screenings focussing on this topic.
The third debate will be next Wednesday, 1st July hosted by MEP Barbara Spinelli (GUE/NGL) together with the screening of the movie "Like a man on earth" by the Directors Andrea Segre and Dagmawi Yimer.
