The Social Entrepreneurship Network (SEN) final conference held in Brussels on the 28th of January 2015 in the Committee of the Regions will conclude the transnational project led by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Development in Poland, co-financed by the European Commission through the ESF. SEN’s main purpose is to build the capacity of the actors who are part of the ESF system to achieve the objectives of the ESF and of the Europe 2020 strategy. More specifically it seeks to equip them to promote and implement projects involving social entrepreneurship, social enterprises and the social economy in the 2014-2020 period.

This conference will provide an opportunity to discuss with the invited members of the European Parliament, the European Commission, EESC, CoR, GECES, OECD and European Networks further steps towards development of social entrepreneurship as well as practical hints for the implementation of the operational programmes 2014-2020 in this regard with the invited managing authorities.
